Oran Park Rovers FC: A Decade of Football, A Thousand-Strong Family

From a small start in 2014 to one of the largest clubs in the Macarthur Football Association — the Rovers' story is the Oran Park story.

If you want to understand how fast Oran Park has grown, look at Oran Park Rovers Football Club. Founded in 2014, the Rovers grew alongside the suburb itself — small at first, then bigger, then bigger again. By 2020, the club had blown past 850 members. Today, more than 1,000 members pull on the black and white. It's one of the largest clubs in the Macarthur Football Association, and it sits firmly at the heart of the local community.

From Jack Brabham to Doohan Reserve

The Rovers' growth is mapped neatly across the suburb. A move to Jack Brabham Reserve in 2017 unlocked a step-change in numbers and silverware. By 2021, even that wasn't enough — and the club relocated to its current home at Doohan Reserve, a state-of-the-art facility with four full-size pitches and a modern split-level clubhouse. It's the kind of home ground that says everything about where the club is headed.

"A dynamic and integral part of the Oran Park community since its inception in 2014."

A club for everyone

The Rovers run programs across MiniRoos, juniors, seniors, and women's football — with strong investment in female participation and player development pathways. Whether your kid is having their first kick at five, or you're an over-35 chasing a weekend run, there's a team for you. The club has lifted multiple championships since 2016 and continues to develop competitive sides across age groups.
